Catatan waktu terbaik itu, tembus di heat pertama. Dan menempatkannya di posisi satu. Sayangnya, di heat kedua! Best time melorot jadi 8,6 detik dan posisi pun turun jadi ke-4. “Itu karena motor melintir saat start,” kata Jhony.

Tingginya durasi klep ini punya konsekuensi lain. Yaitu, klep mudah floating alias ngambang. Buat menutupinya, mekanik ramah ini mengaplikasi klep dan per klep milik mobil! Enggak tanggung, ukuran payung klep pakai diameter 35 mm buat klep masuk dan 30 mm buat klep buang.

Sayangnya, Man tak tahu klep itu milik mobil apa. Karena klep itu dapat di tukang bubut kenalannya. Beda sama per klep. Kalau per klep, mengambil milik Toyota Vios. Tapi pegas penjaga naik-turunnya klep itu disesuaikan lagi dengan kepala silinder Karisma.

“Penyesuaiannya hanya sebatas memotong satu ulir pegas, karena buat diameternya masuk ke bagian head Karisma,” bilang Man. Nah, dengan dua bagian ini, Man gak perlu khawatir kompresi bocor atau klep bakal floating. Selain per lebih keras, semburan bensol dan udara ke ruang bakar juga mantap! Sama halnya dengan tersalurnya tenaga ke roda belakang. Enggak selip karena pakai kampas kopling BRT,” tambah Man!

Biar gebukan kompresi di ruang bakar menjadi 15,2 : 1, Man mengaplikasi piston Izumi 66 mm yang punya pen piston 13 mm. Makin mantap lagi, stroke juga naik 3 mm. Itu berkat pen piston yang dipasang di kruk-as yang disuplai BRT alias Bintang Racing Team.

Kompresi padat nan tinggi di ruang bakar itu, terbuang sempurna lewat aplikasi saluran buang Ahau Motor. “Knalpot ini, model baru! Diameter pipa lebih besar, hampir sekitar 30 mm,” ungkap Herman sembari memuji performa knalpot itu.
